Midnight Skies - Scarf

Bemberg Silk is soft lustrous fabric made out of cotton linters. The fuzz that surrounds the cotton seed that is usually discarded is used to make this drapey fabric. Our Bemberg Silk is constructed on a powerloom for a uniform texture and feel. It looks like silk, feels like silk and drapes like silk but is a plant based fabric which makes it a suitable alternative for vegans as well. The fabric is lightweight and drapes like a dream.

The breathability and softness of the fabric gives the fabric a lustrous look all the while remaining lightweight and flowey. As the production of the fabric uses cotton linters, it is an eco-friendly fabric. The linters are often discarded after the cotton is harvested, hence when used to create fabric like Bemberg Silk, the waste is also useful which in turn helps reduce the carbon footprint as well.
